PARTIAL PLANNING

This planning option is designed for couples who need some of the final details wrapped up.

Depending on your needs, we start to work with you 3 to 6 months prior to your wedding.

Customized to suit your unique needs, we handle everything listed below and more.

    • One hour initial consultation with Melissa to review your wedding timeline, style, theme, and the day’s events

    • Email and phone support during business hours

    • Use of online custom client management program

    • Wedding vendor research that aligns with your budget & vision

    • Review any preexisting contracts executed prior to hiring Events by Missy to ensure no details are overlooked

    • To do list reminder to keep clients on track

    • Wedding day attire suggestions

    • Arrange transportation for guests

    • Coordinate hotel room block accommodations for out-of-town guests

    • Etiquette advice

    • Liaison between all wedding professionals

    • Compile a list of wedding rentals – if required

    • Provide wedding planning timeline and maintain schedule for meetings, deadlines, and vendor payments

    • Seating arrangement guidance

    • Suggest special gift ideas for the wedding party & parents

    • Review gratuity guidelines for wedding professionals and venue

    • Create a day-of itinerary to be reviewed and approved by client for distribution to all wedding professionals

    • Finalize all remaining vendor payments

    • Provide direction of ceremony procession for the wedding party, parents, ushers, musicians, readers, officiant and the couple

    • Deliver guest welcome bags & weekend itinerary to local hotel

    • Complete wedding day coordination from set-up to break-down with 1 assistant on location for up to 10 hours

    • Deliver & set up all wedding day items within the ceremony and reception spaces

    • Provide Emergency Kit

    • Distribute bridal party flowers and pin corsages / boutonnieres

    • Provide direction for the ceremony procession; wedding party, readers, ushers, musicians, officiant and the couple

    • Point of contact for all wedding professionals and coordinate their set-up & break down of ceremony and reception spaces

    • Work with entertainment, photographer, videographer and all other wedding professionals throughout the reception to ensure a flawless run of the day

    • Deliver final payments / gratuities to wedding professionals if needed

    • Gather personal items and hand off to designated individual

    • Above all … ensure the day runs smoothly!

Our fee includes time, experience, labor and is based on your location, date and responsibilities of the planning team.

All weddings further than 1 hour from our office in Danbury will incur a travel fee as well as reimbursement for overnight accommodations.

If the ceremony & reception take place in different locations, additional assistants will be hired by Events by Missy at a cost directly billed to the client for an hourly rate of $100 per hour per assistant.
