On October 19, 2024, Laura and Brendan wed at the beautiful Shenorock Shore Club in Rye, NY, which was the definition of relaxed coastal elegance. Their beachside ceremony took place right along the sand, framed by ocean views and a soft sea breeze. Live musicians played as guests arrived and throughout the vows, creating an atmosphere that felt intimate and timeless.
The Shenorock Shore Club is one of Rye’s most scenic venues for a ceremony, close enough to the water for those gentle sounds of waves, yet with all the structure and comfort of a private club setting.
Cocktail Hour Overlooking the Water
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails outdoors overlooking the beach. The view of the Long Island Sound made the perfect backdrop as the band continued to play upbeat acoustic sets.
Laura and Brendan added a personal touch with a signature cocktails named after their dog Trout, a playful detail that instantly became a hit at the bar. Who doesn’t love Old fashions & Palomas?!?!?! Guests mingled, laughed, and soaked in the early evening light as music filled the air.
Sunset Portraits on the Shore
As the sun began to dip, the couple stepped away for sunset portraits along the beachfront. The light was golden, the water calm, and the results… simply beautiful. Those few quiet minutes gave them a chance to take in the day before the reception began.

Indoor Reception with Live Music & a Coastal Breeze
The celebration moved indoors for dinner and dancing inside the Shore Club’s elegant reception room. Floor-to-ceiling windows kept the beach in view while the live band carried the energy seamlessly from cocktail hour into the reception.
As the evening went on, guests enjoyed the rhythm of the music and the natural beach breeze that flowed through the space, keeping things comfortable and relaxed. The combination of live performance, laughter, and ocean air gave the night an effortless flow.
Late-Night Bites & a Perfect Send-Off
Before boarding buses home, guests were treated to late-night bites of bacon, egg & cheese sandwiches, the perfect end to a lively evening. After hours of dancing, everyone appreciated a small snack to carry them through the ride back.
It was a thoughtful detail that reflected Laura and Brendan’s care for their guests, and the ideal way to close out a beachside celebration.
